What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?
Jin Shin Jyutsu® is an ancient Japanese healing art for harmonizing life-energy which empowers people of all walks of life to take charge of their own health and well-being by simply placing their hands on specific energy points on the body, or by holding their fingers thereby alleviating ‘dis-ease’ and restoring physical, emotional, and mental health and harmony. Jin Shin Jyutsu is an incredibly effective art of healing and, hence, one of the few complementary healing modalities used in US hospitals. Unlike other complementary healing modalities, however, it has a strong self-help component and is accessible to anyone anytime. This is why we are so passionate about it and consider it one of the greatest gifts to humanity.

In the SpotlightNew Book: A Unique Exploration of JSJ and its Japanese RootsVéronique Le Normand is a journalist and writer residing in Paris. In 2002, in the wake of a traumatic experience of loss, a doctor introduced her to Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese art of healing that teaches us how to help ourselves simply through the use of our hands. In 2017, after fifteen years of study and practice, she set off for Japan to learn about the healer and samurai Jiro Murai, who had revived this physio-philosophy at the beginning of the twentieth century. Accompanied by her friend Kyoko Watanabe, Véronique retraced the steps of the elusive master, accompanied in spirit by the presence of seventeenth-century Japanese poet Basho. "The Square Light of the Moon" is the journal of a journey from one world to another and a wonderful initiation into Japanese culture.
